Simcity is a visual concept created for a student film poster commission called ChitChatClick. Mobile phones and inner city life are a crucial part of the script which has been incorporated into the visual language. Each character is assigned their own simcard with its own colour or tariff. Following on from the finished character designs (see previous posts) I decided to composite a quick character design process which shows how I work. 3 stages which include the initial stick figure or skeleton with perspective, fleshing out the body and finally layering all the clothing, accessories and finer details.
