Shake your head

The only thing I regret is being myself
That senseless scent of self.
A familiar smell to the nose
It lingers, it comes and goes.

Shaking my head with regret
A mind to a devil's pet,
Trained for breaking heads.

You can't run away from yourself
I did something...
My soul knows it doesn't belong
My regret confirms it to be wrong.

Face reality with change
And embrace the pain
Pick up what remains
And start over again.

So go ahead,
Shake your head in regret
A mind to a devil's pet.
Go ahead

The designs are now available to buy on my  Redbubble  &  Society6  stores Yuyanda's Blog of Art and Design, Animation and Illustration. 2020. All Rights Reserved.

The book will feature art from new and upcoming artists from around the world and will be avaliable to buy online. More info can be found here http://www.dragonbrusher.com/

ChitChatClick's character building drawings

Following on from the finished character designs (see previous posts) I decided to composite a quick character design process which shows how I work. 3 stages which include the initial stick figure or skeleton with perspective, fleshing out the body and finally layering all the clothing, accessories and finer details. Pencil media on 140gsm paper. Mechanical Pencils. A4 light box. Rulers. Erasers. Paint brushes. ChitChatClick on Deviantart ChitChatClick on Facebook
