After a brief conversation with my friend Jason Ng, who told me about his new designer clothing brand  u9ly Avenue  I told him about these designs and how I thought they would make cool T-shirts. I used the assets from a project I did with London Bus-Tops over the London 2012 Olympic Games, check out the  Behance project  I'm hoping we'll be able to work together in the future. Here are my final poster designs for musical indie film God Help the Girl starring Emily Browning, Hannah Murray and Olly Alexander and directed by Stuart Murdoch. Unfortunately the window of opportunity was too small to get permission from the films distributors to use the posters for any theatrical cinema release but I have gained a certain amount of industry experience and good references from Metrodome Distribution. I am currently trying very hard to get the posters onto social media and the official website, it’s been a struggle so far but i'm not giving up. The feedback I have got from friends and the guys from Metrodome has been great. Quad poster. one-sheet poster.

God Help the Girl director Stuart Murdoch is the lead singer/songwriter of indie band Belle & Sebastian. In keeping with the bands bold two-tone album cover art I went for a minimal but more exciting full colour painting approach which should appease their fans with a single background colour to accompany each of the actor illustrations. The idea was if the illustration has a high saturation value then the background colour would be low saturation and vice versa. I later came across the Albers approach to colour studies which lead to finding the largest area of a hue from the actor illustration and producing a different colour within the same family for the background. I also attempted to combine these ideas with complimentary colours for each illustration and split complimentary colours to cohesively bring them all together. Im currently working on a film poster design for a musical indie flick called God Help The Girl from Metrodome distribution due for release in 2014. The film stars Emily Browning (Suckerpunch) Hannah Murray (Game of Thrones) and Olly Alexander (lead singer of the British band Years and Years) and director Stuart Murdoch's debut film. The lineart features the main three characters from the film which I hope you will like. Hi guys. I'm gonna share with you some W.I.P screen shots of new character designs and title graphics for a film poster I'm working on. The film in question is indie comedy Frances Ha played by Greta Gerwig  www.imdb.com , the poster design is part of a competition run by Movie Preview Network www.moviepreviewnetwork.com  and Metrodome. Whether I win or not its a great project and will fit nicely in my portfolio. I have hope and optimism.

I was recently commissioned to create promotional poster material for a student film from Bournemouth University (UK) called ChitChatClick. The story revolves around four modern women who communicate via mobile but when they finally meet face to face, all is not as it seems and things turn for the worse! I wanted the film's title design in text message format with an added flavour of glitz and glamour. The graphic design is based on digital photography of text messages typed on my LG-KP170 mobile phone and captured with my Minolta Z1 digital camera. I decided it makes more sense working from a realistic base rather from scratch shown below. If you don't know I am a massive Bruce Lee fan and recently decided to touch up some digital work I did for my degree show inspired by Bruce Lee called Audio Visual Posters. I guess what brought me back to it was a belief it had more to offer and a longing to get it out there and contribute to Bruce Lee's legacy within the industry... well that's the plan anyway. The original artwork has been exhibited in Bethnal Green, Ada Street Gallery and London Trocadero. I also presented the poster to Linda Lee (Bruce Lee's widow) and daughter Shannon Lee in 2008 gaining a signed copy.    So I went back to the project files and created a PDF presentation in Adobe InDesign complete with Bookmarks, interactive buttons and hyperlinks in aid of my mission. I have sent the new poster art and PDF to a number of Asian film distribution companies and the Bruce Lee Foundation, I know its a long shot but I need to get it off my chest and move on. Done!
